A lot has happened since my last prayer letter:
Tom Pace, missionary to Peru since 1967, was called home to heaven on November 8th, 2022. By God's grace, he is in the unimaginable presence of his Lord and Savior; and he is certainly enjoying the great reunion with many loved ones and his daughter Kathy. To God be all glory! One extra blessing was that at Tom’s services I was able to visit with many people who had known Kathy also.
We were able to spend time with many of Tom’s kids, grandkids and great grandkids who were able to come to Peru. Some of us were able to take a trip up to the city of Jauja where the Pace family lived when their kids were growing up. It was a great time with lots of wonderful memories.
All of my girls were able to visit Peru for Christmas! Including Krista’s husband and father-in-law. We got a little worried about all the protests and unrest going on, but none of that ended up affecting our time together. It was great to spend Christmas together with the whole family. And being in Peru made it extra special. No snow though, it’s summer here in Peru! Risha was able to stay the longest and it has been great being with her.
I will be flying back to the States with Risha this week. She will continue her college studies and I will head to New Mexico to spend some time with my family. And then I will meet up with Carolyn Pace and travel with her while she visits some of her supporting churches.
My oldest daughter Janise and her fiancé, Ethan, will be having their wedding on March 13. I’m so excited to have yet another man in the family! I will stay in the States until after the wedding and then head back to Peru.
I am so appreciative of your faithful prayers and support! God is using you to bless us!
