Wow! What a wonderful, busy, crazy and exciting few months! Finishing the school year is always a little crazy with all the end of year programs. In Peru the school year starts in March and finishes in December. From finishing classes, tests, Christmas dramas, multiple graduations (preschool, elementary, high school). Crazy, but also exciting because of all the opportunities to connect with the families and share the Gospel with them!
Risha and I then flew to the states to spend Christmas with my family in New Mexico. Lots of snow! Raeya, Krista and her husband Matt were able to meet us in NM during that time. The only one we were missing was Janise, because she was getting close to giving birth to my first grandchild. Who was born January 8th! How exciting! Risha and I headed that way and were able to spend about a week with them. This of course was the main reason for the trip! The whole trip was very nice. We were able to visit with some of or supporters during that time also. Both individuals and churches. I wish we had more time... but were ready to get back to Peru.

While we were gone our church doubled in size! Literally! But that was because we have joined our English service with another church which was started in another missionary’s home a few years ago. It is very exciting to be together at our current location. It is a Spanish speaking church, so we are currently starting all together for our praise and worship times. Singing and praising God in both Spanish and English. It’s fun. Then we divide into two groups for the sermons. This last Sunday we had everyone together for the entire service to celebrate the joining of the two churches.

Our Christian school was not able to get a Bible teacher for High School this year so I will be helping out again teaching Bible and Personal Relationship classes for all of High School. I’m excited about the opportunity. Many of our students have not accepted Christ as their savior yet. So please pray for their salvation! Pray for me, it will be very busy. And pray for a Bible teacher for next year.
We thank the Lord for all of you who faithfully pray and support us! Without you we would not be here. Thank you!Rick Anderson
