Andersons To Perú

From Peru to BIMI.
June, 2025
Dear Friends and Family,

This has been a crazy but great few months. It was hard leaving Peru and saying goodbye to family, friends, and the different ministries we were involved in. We didn’t bring very many things back to the states with us. I had the opportunity to leave most of our things (furniture, appliance, car) for a new missionary family who should get to Peru later this year. My landlord agreed to hold the house for them. So I didn’t have to try to sell or move anything. I was able to leave it set up in the house ready for them. What a blessing!

I mentioned in my last prayer letter the need for a car here in the states. Some friends of ours who had been missionaries in Peru a few years ago contacted me. Their daughter had just asked them to help her sell her car, which I ended up purchasing from them at a great price. I flew into the states, they picked me up from the airport, took me to lunch. Then we finished the purchase. Another blessing! Much better than used car lot shopping! One of our supporting churches gave us a special offering that ended up covering more than half the cost. Yes, more blessings!

The transition from Peru to the World Mission Center of our mission board BIMI has gone very well. They had a furnished cottage ready for us to use. We will be able to rent it for a year while we get settled. It is right on the BIMI property, which is a very beautiful location. Yes, blessing after blessing! If you are ever in the Chattanooga area, be sure to stop by for a visit and a tour!

My new position of Missionary Services is going well. I am learning the insurance aspect of things here and gaining a better appreciation of how much work goes on behind the scenes here at BIMI. A lot to learn but enjoying it and enjoying being able to help our missionaries all around the world! More blessings!

I have enjoyed being able to give updates and preach in many of our supporting churches as well as visit with some families that support us. As one church put it, they “Blessed our socks off!” And yes, they did! Wow! It has been very encouraging. We feel very blessed! We have lost some of our support while transitioning back to the states. So far almost $500 a month. Please continue to pray with us that I can maintain the support that is needed. Thank you!

• Please continue to pray for Risha. She is taking a job for the summer in Pennsylvania and will be back with me sometime in August. (Her boyfriend just happens to live in Pennsylvania by the way…)
• Pray also for Janise. She is ready to give birth to my new granddaughter! June 15th is the due date! Yeah!

I am thankful for all of you and your faithful prayers and support! What a blessing you are!
