Andersons To Perú

From Peru to BIMI.
September, 2025
Dear Friends and Family,

I am enjoying working at BIMI’s Home Office—the World Missions Center. I have been staying very busy and learning a lot! It is exciting to be a part of the things that go on here. Since I have been here, we have had the following:

• Action Conference for World Evangelization—missions-focused preaching, fellowship, and interactive workshops
• Candidate School where 48 missionaries were preparing to raise funds or getting ready to go to their countries of ministry
• Enrichment Week where veteran missionaries who are traveling in the States get a chance to relax, have some fun, be encouraged, fellowship with other missionaries and get a little spoiled
• Two separate weeks of CAMP BIMI where those who are interested in missions have an opportunity to focus on the needs around the world in a Christian “camp” setting

Janise's new baby Larae

Janise & Ethan’s little baby girl was born! Her name is Larae and her big brother is enjoying his little sister. How fun! I’m a proud grandaddy twice over.

We also found out that Krista is pregnant and due in February! So that makes me a proud grandaddy thrice over! I’m enjoying this!

Jordan and Risha

Risha’s boyfriend, Jordan McDowell, had his BIMI pinning ceremony as part of our Candidate School here at BIMI. He is preparing to start a church in the Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, area. He is having his ordination service on September 7th and is already scheduling meetings for his deputation. It is all very exciting! Please pray for both Jordan and Risha. Kerri in Uganda and Kerri and Rick

There was one amazing thing that happened during Enrichment Week that I would like to share with everyone. I have met someone! Yes, a girl. Her name is Kerri Phillips. She has been a single missionary in Uganda, Africa, her home for 15 years. (Kerri2Uganda.com) She is here in the States because of some health issues that prevent her from returning to Uganda and the idea of not being there is very hard to take. She had already been praying about transitioning to the BIMI Home Office. Lord willing she will be starting there this January. We ate lunch a couple of times during Enrichment Week and have been dating ever since. Please pray for both of us and for what the Lord has in store for us.
