We are so blessed to serve at BIMI and for all that the Lord allowed us to be a part of during the busy summer months at the BIMI Home Office! These ministries provided unique opportunities to see the Lord at work in the lives of others and to serve alongside faithful coworkers.
The summer began with Candidate School, where we were excited to have Risha and Jordan McDowell with us (Rick’s daughter & son-in-law). It was a great encouragement to see them approved by BIMI as missionaries, and we rejoice in how the Lord is leading in their lives on deputation (pittsburghchurchplant.org).
Following Candidate School, we participated in Enrichment Week. During this time, we were privileged to teach the children. We enjoyed celebrating holidays with them, including Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Veterans Day, through games, crafts, and Bible lessons. It was a joy to watch their excitement as they learned and participated in each activity.
As the summer continued, we also had the opportunity to be involved with Camp BIMI. We loved fellowshipping with the campers during lunch and were encouraged by the many young people who are interested in missions. These moments were a reminder of the importance of investing in the next generation, and we are thankful for even a small part in encouraging them toward God’s calling on their lives.
In addition to these summer ministries, we are continuing to visit our supporting churches. We would love the opportunity to come and give an update on what the Lord is doing through our ministry.
